INCA Renewtech
INCA Founders contribute chapter to BioProducts textbook

Recently INCA’s CEO David Saltman, and Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer Camille Saltman authored a book chapter called “Turning Biomass into Business” for the De Gruyter textbook BioProducts: Green Materials for an Emerging Circular and Sustainable Economy. The chapter highlights trends on the commercialization side of biocomposites innovation including the work of INCA Renewtech to bring advanced bio-composites to market for Toyota North America, Winnebago Industries, and Gurit and the sustainability research and analysis conducted by Greenstep Solutions on the emissions, waste and water impacts of the INCA product line. The book is available on Amazon and on the publisher’s website.
The book is edited by Dr. Bhima Vijayendran who served in senior leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies and at Battelle Memorial Institute for over 45 years and is now consultant and advisor for renewable technologies and advanced materials and their commercialization.
The book is focused on bioproducts derived from renewable resources processed by conventional catalytic thermochemical processes and or emerging bioprocessing techniques including fermentation and synthetic biology. It highlights developments—from discovery, lab feasibility, scale up and eventual commercialization of interest and value in all the major sectors of the economy and pinpoints mega-trends all over the world. The 45+ authors demonstrate that we are truly poised for transitioning into a circular economy with proactive sachems to mitigate waste, greenhouse gas emissions, reuse and recycle of resources in a profitable and sustainable manner.
